Updates, updates, updates! A new version of the video player, updates to the web browser, and the latest version of Unity 2022.3. Fixes to video playback and some user experience improvements.
Enhancements:
- We’ve updated our apps to use the latest version of Unity 2022.3: 2022.3.56f1
- AVPro Video has been updated to 3.2.0, introducing a host of bug fixes and even some performance-enhancing rewrites
- 3D WebView has been updated to 4.10
- A new “[ i ]” button in the Lobby displays the version number of the running software, which is helpful for support
- We are now using app.orchestratevr.com instead of orchestrate.accessvr.com
Fixes:
- Sometimes the scene video would not play, especially when changing Scenes; the upgrade to AVPro Video appears to have fixed this problem
- There was a usability issue with the way we were triggering layers to appear, with them sometimes appearing outside of the viewable area, causing users to feel lost
